Morning, /lg/! Fa/tg/uy here. I have some Lego pieces laying around and I want to put them to use. I wanna start a little project for myself where using technic parts such as the gears to make a Lego "hand cranked paint shaker" basically a Lego utility apparatus that I can use with my miniature painting hobby.
Having learned about Lego "gearboxes" perhaps there is a "gearbox" out there that basically turns slow cranks on one end into a fast RPM spinning part on the other rend. Is such a thing even possible?
I'm hoping for a "gearbox" mechanism that can be hooked up to a technic mechanism where a "chamber" holds my paint dropper bottles or paint pots (I might buy some cushioning foam for them). The mechanism is supposed to shake the paint up and down at a rapid speed sort of like this video:

So any advice? Any Lego Technic experts here with significant clockwork gear knowledge able to help out?
Any tutorials or video links of gear mechanisms resulting in fast RPM are welcome
>picrelated is just something hopefully to explain what I am looking for though at a much faster shaking speed, hand crank powered, and shaking upwards instead of sideways.
