What it really boils down to is how you're gonna display Esmy. If you're going to pose on the shelf with a neutral stance, then keep her noggin on the original body. If you're going to put her in lots of dance poses, then switch to the MtM body.
Worst case scenario: You transfer the head on the MtM body and don't like it. But that can be easily reversed if you keep the original body. So you'll be stuck with an uneeded MtM body. But I'm sure you can think of another doll head swap for that.
