Articulation is spectacular, with fantastic range on pretty much all the joints.
There are only two open hands included, and there are some pretty large pegs sticking out of the palms, I would have preferred the pegs be on the guns instead, so the hands would look good empty. The pegs do work very well though, and keep the weapons very stable. This means it's easy to adjust poses even with the big minigun, cause it's like the hands are glued to it. You can just move the gun around and the arms will follow.
So yeah, it's not perfect, but if you're like me--like the design but not $100-like-it, and can forgive some visual flaws, it's a really great option I think. I buy a ton of Shokugan and I still think this is one of the most impressive releases I've ever seen.
