Alright, blogpost time.
I've decided to remove the TUSK elements and go with a NATO 3-tone for two reasons: I've never seen an abrams with both AN/CLQ-6 and TUSK installed, and I believe "visual interest" would be too high between sand-colored TUSK, 3-tone tank, black barrels and green launcher-insides / sighting system.
Luckily, the RFM kit includes parts for non-TUSK sideskirts, so it was just a matter of ripping the old parts off.
I also learned the hard way that the AFV club workable tracks melt in contact with lacquer thinner, so I'm going to have to spend several days on the RFM tracks (6 parts per link, lmao).
Sighting system is pending re-print following a redesign to better match existing ATADS sights.
All in all, she's coming along real nicely, I find it very hard to tell that some parts are 3D printed.
