>>11119230>>11118530After the war, it was decided that Motoroids had developed sufficient sentience and sapience to be considered true lifeforms, and a treaty was signed making them into citizens with their own rights. Motoroids soon started taking up positions on Earth involving construction or civil services (similar to their old pre-war roles, except now they get paid for it), but there was an issue: the Geo Crystals required massive amounts of energy to run, and since they were no longer compatible with Pion, they needed to find a new fuel source. The Polynians came to their aide, offering their Trans-Scale technology to help them. The Trans-scale system shrinks (or increases) matter down to a certain point; the Polynians used the tech on themselves to shrink down to 1/12 their normal size (the same scale as the toys), but it was found that it could also be used on Motoroids to shrink theri massive 10m tall, energy-guzzling frames down to around human-sized, where they could then ingest human foods to meet their fuel requirements; as a side-effect, they could also shrink down to 1/12 size if they chose. This gave Motoroids their first taste of human/polynian life, but they soon learned that to fully integrate into human society, they needed to do more than just shrink - people found their Walker chassis a bit off-putting. So, with more collaboration with the Polynians, they developed the human-shaped Motoroid bodies we see in the toys - basically, when they use the Trans-Scale tech to 'Human-Rise', they can reshape themselves into the smaller, softer humanoid forms, designed specifically to mimic Polynians and allow the Motoroids to live normal, human lives (right down to the ability to actually have sex and give birth/impregnate others, apparently, according to the updated lore).
