Zeta's Unicron looks like it was made to be a playable, posable desk toy of Unicron. The size is about as big as you can get while still being manageable and the robot mode is really well put together and solid judging by the reviews. Hasbro's goal with their Unicron was clearly to just have an enormous centerpiece, pretty much just a statue. You can tell just by looking at the thing that it won't be enjoyable to move around and it will be complete chore to try and transform.
There's a market for both figures however and I'm glad there's an option for a collection centerpiece and an option for a plaything. I'm going for Zeta's unicron myself for that reason but i'm not going to whine about people who prefer Hasbro's
The only thing I don't like about the Zeta Unicron is the planet rings, they just look so pathetic and small. If there's one thing Hasbro nailed it's how expansive and elaborate the rings are, it gives the figure an enormous presence. It's not like Zeta couldn't have just made them bigger, I don't get why they wound up so small.
