>>10473576>people trip over themselves to buy good things but if something doesn't sell it's because it's not goodSounds like you're conceding that Marvel Legends/Black series/etc is the superior line that collectors are choosing because you get more features and quality the price, better than Revoltechs, NECA, Figuarts, Figma, Sentinel, Diamond Select, because they sell millions of units more than all these companies every single year?
But I'm being facetious, and you're a retard who wouldn't even understand I'm making fun of the fallacy you're trying to pull.
>>10473634>implying McFarlane's Wonder Women 1984 and Suicide Squad lines that came from movies that bombed didn't bomb, werent found on deep clearance and even Rosses Dollar says you're going to find a shitload of Flash movie toys on deep clearance too, while comic-only figures that less than 100 thousand people will recognize will be hard to find and go for triple the MSRP on eBay.
McFarlane is a small company, hence not having the money to pay WB/DC for a long term licensing deal, which is why in only 3 years McFarlane/WB has twice announced they've renewed their contract. So despite movie lines bombing like crazy, McFarlane is making far more money selling comic figures to make up that difference.
>didn't seem to stop the import versions of the characters from selling out.>selling outDCC sold out of their Premium line too though. But the reason Figuarts/Figma/Mafex is still up is because they sell more than just DC movie figures, like the far more popular Marvel movie toys. The Premium line only existed to sell DC movie characters.
Again, McFarlane's DC line is still going too, because they make more than just DC movie characters.
pic of a bomba of a line that got clearanced hard and at least one planned figure was canceled because of how poorly they sold, despite NECA, Playmates, and Loyal Subjects figures selling like hotcakes.
