>>5998832When you say regular cement, do you mean thick cement? Doesn't that contain clear plastic that would affect the color of the final putty? I figured thin cement would be best since it's basically just the solvent by itself.
As for what I'm doing, I'm building pic related and I wanted to keep the original System Injection colors for the face, so to make the skin tone match I want to find a way to fill in the seams on the shoulders without having to paint it afterwards. I figure welding the parts and sanding afterwards would be the best way, but I was thinking that using melted sprue putty would be a good way to fill in any remaining gaps. Obviously I would wait few days for the solvent to dry completely beforehand in order to prevent the additional glue from making the seams reappear.
