Assembly done. The single-piece hard plastic tracks ended up working sorta ok, until I had them bent around the sprocket and added a touch of glue at which point they both snapped right off. Only in one spot each though, and I managed to fix it acceptably. Then the two wires had to be somewhat forced into place, and suffered a number of chemically induced fractures when I tried to glue them down. On the plus side (for fixing that at least) the rather soft plastic melts together quite well/quickly with extra-thin cement.
