Masking fluid question: I've been using masking fluid extracted from a molotow pen (the blue vinyl stuff). I manually painted it on this 1/72 B-17 dorsal turret, but I wasn't too pleased with the results (pic is it after a little cleanup). Is the masking fluid that Vallejo or Humbrol sell better than this art store stuff for brush painting, or is it all just the same stuff and it's only my brushpainting technique that I need to fix? I noticed that this art store stuff has the tendency to ball up due to surface tension, but I tried it with vallejo thinners (essentially water + surfactant) and it didn't really solve the problem.
