Most of the 1980's-present US layout would be a 3-4 foot wide long single track run with lots of focus on details of the surrounding neighborhood. I've had a fixation on a stretch of single CSX track on the Fitzgerald Subdivision running through Fitzgerald, Georgia. I discovered it from an old DVD I have showing three trains passing there in 2002. I love all of the mixed up and leased locomotives that were running then. I've heard what you grow up with becomes your favorite.
