Same thing happened to me two years ago with a Little Mermaid Vanessa classic doll. I knew I needed to get it before the 30th Anniversary because casual collectors would drive the price up like they did with Esmeralda dolls when Notre Dame was set on fire.
Lost multiple near mint one selling for over $100 because it was the end of the month, and I was bummed out. The next week someone who lives an hour away from me lists the whole flipping set for around the same price!
