MTS decided it could charge more for what is essentially a vanity line of non-traditional (e.g. non DCMV 22PTS figures) and while they are not identical to the Super Powers, MANY if not all of the same pricing issues would be involved. And yet they are almost $8 more at retail.
Likewise, those more late 1990s early 2000s toy like versions of the BTAS at $29.99 is definitely an 'excuse' by McFarlane to raise prices (PICREL).
Even though some of them didn't sell (the Scarescrow) and you can already find those at remaindered shops), others which are vastly popular are still being reshipped to stores like that one which arrived earlier this week.
