Alright folks I'm finally working on my layout again (And by working I mean procuring models to work into the layout) starting with the scrap yard. I want it to be a small operation (Single siding, fits a small diesel and a gondola comfortably), and I can't find a model of a 50s-era excavator for the life of me online for cheap in N scale, so which of these cranes should I go with for unloading stuff? Left is probably more "prototypical" but I feel that I could make the right work.
>>10886806Unitrak is by far the best N scale track available for casual use. You have a wide selection of track to choose from, an easy to set up system that has no hassle during disassembly, and like no cons other than it's a tad bit more pricy than other track brands. Avoid Bachmann EZ-Track like the plague, it might look like a cheaper alternative but the roadbed looks way worse, the connections are far worse since you actually have to pay attention to the rail joiners when connecting track, and the rails themselves are cheap shit when put side by side.
