Back then we had all kinds of themes. Even during the Lego Movie we still had Ninjago and Chima or what was that during that year. and that was besides licenseshit.
Now the ONLY nonlicenset story--Character-driven theme (that is not a random sets - theme like City or Champions) is Ninjago.
Also i wonder if the death of Nexo Knights was on purpose.
Last 2 lines were utter shit. Those stone-grey Nexo Gargoyles sucked and looked very boring and i refused to buy them even on discount. Im sure some kids saw those sets and thougt they were boring too.
At least SW is something famous despite being grey-boxed.
Remember how AWESOME nexo knights were during the first year? So much cool stuff. Fortrex kicked ass.

Im blaming shitty designers. I saw who designing those sets. And late Nexo-sets were designed by literal YOUNG basedboy. He looked not very experienced to me
