They somehow manage to make adaptations of superheroes boring (changing trying to impress Death into solving resource shortage isn't a good thing), and it's always the same three or four characters from the MCU over and over, at that. You'd think they'd at least use the molds to make comic versions of those characters, but no, we need every god damn film to have a Captain America and Iron Man. You don't even have to dig deep to find more interesting characters - everyone who ever watched cartoons in the 90s knows who Jubilee is, for instance. Not that that matters when they probably wouldn't even bother with Wolverine or Cyclops.
