>>5499572it depends on what you're doing. im the anon that made the wig for a venitu and i just recently made a wig for my realfee using the same hair. i still have many locks left over, enough to make a wig probably for a 5/6 sized head. maybe even a 6/7 head and i only ordered 3/4 of an ounce. i was really surprised how much hair that is, i thought i'd just have enough to make the short wig for the venitu when i ordered it, but i got a ton of hair.
i ordered from stella's fiber farm on etsy. it was 3/4 of an ounce and 9-10 inches long.
if you're only making one wig, an ounce will be more than enough for an msd sized doll. i just ordered more hair from another shop, roughly a half of an ounce to make a wig for my unoa. it hasn't arrived yet but im pretty sure it will be enough for her.
pic related is the wig i just made. if you want i can take a pic of how much hair i have left, its still a lot after making two short wigs. i have no means of weighing it, so a pic will have to do.
