The biggest drawback is that they're first and foremost blind boxes and the price is around $13. Just don't be retarded like half the people on tumblr who bought like 50 at a time and then screeched when they got repeats and not all 36.
If you're looking for a specific one, just type in whichever it is on eBay and you'll find people selling partially opened ones if they got repeats or ones they weren't interested in for anywhere between $7-$14.
