>>6338747not him and I'm not saying it has never happened but
>Unite Warriors everythinglol no. UW is just CW with better paint and QC but it doesn't magically make that line good for anything besides something to fiddle with and then give to a kid. CW/UW was a fun line but it was no more satisfying than a bag of potato chips compared to a steak dinner.
>MP Soundwavethis is 100% correct
>MP Shockwaveit depends on if you want a good solid figure or G1 toon accuracy. For the former, 3rd party is probably gonna scratch that itch better. For the latter, MP Shockwave nails it but he's meh at best. He looks good but overall looks kind of bland because of the lack of paint and the fact that Takara actually went with fucking stickers for the insignias. He also just feels a bit hollow and not worth the asking price.
>MP Ironhide/Ratchetcouldn't say. Never owned one, 3rd party or MP
>MP Megatronkinda the same as Shockwave from what I hear, though to a lesser degree. MP nails the toon look but I've been hear quite a few fragility horror stories and he just doesn't clean up super well. Alt mode is loaded with distracting panel lines and in bot mode, his back is an absolute mess compared to some 3rd party offerings. 3rd party also offers a much nicer paint job with full on silver instead of that dull metallic gray. 3rd party offerings also seem to have a much better toy feeling to them, whereas MP Megs looks far too fiddly for my liking and seems more like an improved repeat of the original MP where you transform it once just to do it and then you put him back in bot mode, never to want to transform it again. Not to mention, Weijing has this guy on the way who looks like he beats the MP hard. I'm really glad I waited because it gives me the toon aesthetic I want but with a super clean alt and bot mode (also hinting at a much more intuitive transformation), smaller price tag, and more well rounded proportions.
