>>7151693>>7151761Tamiya Silver Leaf IS the best, can confirm. Been using it for years and I've tried all the others from Tamiya (and a number from some other brands as well). Silver Leaf will give you a bright, silky-smooth silver, not glittery or reflective or sparkly. You won't be able to see any metallic powders or particles within it, it's clean as fuck. Always my go-to silver.
If you need something more chromey and reflective, the closest you'll be able to get without an airbrush is Molotow silver markers. They'll give you a shockingly nice shine, but the catch is you can't really touch it after that or you'll dull the effect, and using any kind of topcoat on it dulls it as well. It's best used for internal details or things that you can set up once and then never really pose/touch again (ie, resin kits, plane models, etc).
