>>7043244This has been in my head for a while. It's weird that Lego has never really settled for a regular go-to color for Electricity/Lightning. It was purple for Slizers, then it became blue (Bionicle, HF, Ninjago), and sometimes it was yellow (Mixels).
So my question is: did anyone have their own idea of Lightning/Electricity Toa before the canon version was revealed? And did you stick with it despite contradicting G1 canon?
As for me, years before Nikila I built a yellow Toa OC and settled on him being a Toa of Electricity. To this day yellow feels natural for Lightning to me. Blue is better suited for Water and Ice, so I can't see it as a color for a hot element. I have to say pic related looks really cool though, so maybe blue could stay for accents.
