I dunno if it could sustain a toyline long term, but each of the four main characters and the villain would need two toy versions each, normal and armoured, so that's something.
Hell, they could even do normal, armoured, and living/past versions, but that's really a stretch. I don't recall this series being that popular.
Another random guess: What if they did a mighty max line? No playsets, just the characters. It would basically end up being a cartoon monster line.
