Most of my peers seemed to have outgrown them and were already onto teenage leisure activities. Even though my mom was the only one that knew, I began feeling incredibly embarrassed about playing with toys, and when family members began asking what I wanted for Christmas I just kept saying "nothing" even though there were a bunch of toys I wanted. I still built legos until I was 14 but didn't play with them.
Now that I'm an adult and can spend my money on whatever I want and not feel judged by my peers I still feel too embarrassed to do it despite wanting it even more.
The last toy I ever bought/had someone buy for me was a Kylo Ren figure before TFA came out.
