In general this kit doesn't need a lot of work but benefits form it, just looking at the ref pics and adding the missing welds and adding some texture to the armor slabs give it a livelier appearance. I'm not a great in the building/scratch work department but these kits would benefit from putting extra effort in the building phase, more than I did despite adding the night vision and the projector as I feel more could be done within my ability. With some PE set (voyager and ET have irc) and details cannibalized from other kits or using aftermarket detail up parts in general you can make the simple looking barn of german stahl prototype into some deployed and "lived in" looking project and those are the best ones imo.
