>>10873812The gold and silver masks aren’t coated? They’re just made of gold and silver coloured plastic. If they were coated the paint would chip off around the connecter stud especially. They’re slightly transparent just cause of the nature of the type of plastic used, like the copper huna or Komau. In this early mask display you can see the yellow and light blue kaukau in the spots where Pohatus and kopakas kaukau should be. In my opinion the misprints were the early colour choices for the kaukau of those too but were changed last minute for whatever reason.
