I know these threads are looked down upon but I need to vent.
My parents are getting unexceptional of my hobbies. Specifically my mother. I make my own money and I'm my own man so I know I shouldn't care, but she's getting toxic with her attitude towards it. It's always "your going to regret spending money on all that you should spend less". She's wrong, you can't predict the future so live in the moment. Toys make me happy, they give me child like wonder. I pay my taxes, I save for other things, I get out, but every time we talk she asks what I did with my last pay check and gets angry at my results.
