This seems to suggest that he was a fervent "Nazi" The swastika seems very similar to the ones that all Luftwaffe planes had on their tail,black with white outlining. Russian troops in a hurry wouldn't have taken the time to paint such an time consuming swastika, they would have done a far quicker job. Based on these observations, I would think the swastika was painted by the German forces.\\| w
