It's because people have more disposable income, and muh capitalism wanting to make double the bux on selling toys separately to the girl and the boy in the family, rather than toys which both can play with. Some could say it's just more EmPoWeRiNg to have more resources to be more in touch with our innate genders uwu!! My personal foil hat theory is that the growing "gender cap" in the toy & kids clothing aisle has quite a lot to do with the recent gender identity psychosis, since a lot of people do not fit neatly into one blue or pink box. But now there are just more boxes and magic juice to jump into the different colored box - but that is a conversation not belonging to this thread, sorry.
