On the topic of panel lining, what exactly do y'all do when it comes to metal detail parts? I have some on my way for my MG Barbatos and it'll be my first time working with photo-etched parts. Should I panel-line the areas where the photo-etched pieces will go, like the little notch on the shoulder pad here, before gluing the metal down? I really like the aesthetic of the photo-etched parts on darker areas, but it feels like they sort of fade into their surroundings on white pieces. Maybe a dark wash would help them pop.
