>>5848721Anon, you may of been trying to quit, but you have my condolences, did anyone even try to have your back or did your bosses who saw what happened just cave in?
I had a similar story, its not /toy/ related but long story short similar to yours, over exaggeration of the customer's events and the only thing that was true is me reacting (she called me an asshole under her breathe and I just yelled out "ASSHOLE, WHAT THE HELL").
But I got lucky even though corporate was called in.
>given multiple customer compliments to corporate>entire team that night knows I cared about customers more than they do>customer just before the crazy woman actually TRIED to calm down her hysterics and even gave evidence/his version of eventsI got very lucky, all because at 8pm as the lone cashier, some woman left her bottle of soft drink at the end of the conveyor belt, which prevented customers behind her from placing their stuff down especially the more fragile person behind her who was struggling to keep up her basket, all I did was lay it down legnth ways to prevent it shaking up, she put it up scaring the customer behind her and I had a nervouis twitch before...repeating what I just did before she started going on about how its gonna explode and not letting me explain what I did.
Retail is a bitch, and they wonder why after 7 years why I'm fine being a part time drone rather than being in a position of power.
>>5848731I'm waiting for this to happen, back in an old job at kfc we heard sounds of fucking in a drive through intercom while placing their order and it was a young couple in underwear looking very happy on a friday night, they were nice and the window guy wasn't phased, he was gay so he was sorta dissapointed.
Later that night someone shit themselves in the toilets, as in they took a dump in their underwear and left it by the toilet bowl, just glad I wasn't on shift where some gang tried to smash into the store and rob the joint
