Can anyone explain Soviet tan tanker uniforms? Most figure kits I see about 80's Soviet tank crew, including Soviet-Afghan war have black uniforms, but in the 1991 Moscow Coup tank crews were already wearing tan, and by Grozny black tanker uniforms were gone. Also Dragon's Soviet tank crew kit from the early 90's shows both black and tan uniforms.
So what I'm wondering is:

>was it an all-weather or a summer-only uniform?
>was this a general-issue uniform or only for certain units (armor, motor-rifle, guards etc.)
>are these just tan infantry uniforms worn by vehicle crews?
