The Russian ones were a prime example of what fucked up Barbie Collector lines, they changed an existing line to appeal a completely different type of customer, in that case FR or Sybarite collectors. You're right, it's quite possible that they're again torpedoing their own line to mimic some other trend. It's so stupid to change their premium classic line when they could just bring back 1 Modern Circle.
