He wrote Flex early in his career, so the big ideas he presents aren’t as streamlined when compared to All Star Superman. But it’s still a very enjoyable and uplifting story.
Flex isn’t connected to All Star Supes directly, but you’ll definitely see a lot of aspects to Flex’s character were refined and helped to create the iconic version of Supes we see in All Star.
Also, Frank Quitely’s art is perfect.
