Got Fanstoys Rig today, the quality and design seems pretty good overall. Has a bit of an "old design they forgot to release" feel too him with his articulation though (He's not even on the same radar as Hotrod though, that fig was like regret in a box). He's all 90 degree bends, and while the shoulders aren't as limiting as they seem they don't do anything special either. Also he has an ab joint that just straight up doesn't work and can't move.
Not really concerned at all about paint scrapping on him which is nice for once on a Fanstoys figure. One of the panels making up his backpack/truckbed feels kind of flimsy though.
Annoyingly that flimsy panel seems like an instance of a part that just never wants to fit into place properly after you undo it the first time. It's the top panel of his backpack there, it theory it should snap in flat, but in practice the fucker just keeps popping open because whatever precise position everything needs to be in for that step to work, I can't get to work.
