With proper adjustment to the hole and peg to keep it from freezing the joint is now stronger than before.
As far as glue goes I use loctite and some copper jewelry wire. Make sure it's liquid super glue and not gel, that shit sucks.
The clear purple arm in pic related uses a variation of this method to keep the wing unit from snapping off at a light breeze.
