>>10115634so you bought a single Hiya figure and because you had a single bad experience, they're all shit?
Pretty retarded.
Whereas that single JoyToy is jsut one of countless problems I've had, showing quality control is absolutely shit throughout all their toylines.
That marine had the worst problems from that wave, but others still had paint problems.
JoyToy's plastic used to be so shit that they included extra joints cause their plastic was brittle.
They have molding issues, which leads to bad fitting pieces, hence pieces falling apart easily or WH40k figures shelf diving despite both feet being blutacced onto the shelf, because their pieces fit extremely loose.
THIS is bad QC, that's completely endemic throughout the entire company.
I've never seen a company fail so hard for so many years. Companies like Kaiyodo had problems with toys leaking plasticizers prematurely, but that was pretty random and not found universally throughout every single release. But i guess that's just China's MO, hence JoyToy having almost no distribution in the west until this year.
Hiya had some real shitty products in the early 10s, but when they started licensing western properties, they turned out great lines.
>Also i was actually expecting this get funded fairly easilyAHAHAHAHAH, sorry, but u dum. That GR is from a failed series that had bad sales right after its #1 boost.
>>10115633i really find it hard to believe their most successful team (Marvel products) has people that inept. Even GI Joe's Skystriker KS was struggling to hit its goal, but they stoked fans up with the Cobra reveal at the last minute. And fans, including myself, were shitting on it pretty badly because it wasn't compatible with modern toys and had already seen a cheap but quality remake already.
