>>7254973I've attended Dcon for a few years now. I have only ever been able to go for a single day each time, but I always have a blast. There is a ton of cool stuff to see, creators/artists to meet, and of course, toys to buy. This year they moved from Pasadena to a much bigger venue in Anaheim (next to Disneyland). There was SO much to see, it was awesome. Plus, a bunch of attendees hopped on the tram to Downtown Disney afterwards for food/drinks/hanging out, it was really cool to see the tram full of sofubi/vinyl fans I'd spotted around the con.
I'm not sure I would say it's worth it if you need to spend a ton of money getting to California, but if you're somewhat nearby, yes, I would encourage attending.
