Not much into planes to be able to say "use naples yellow to get X yellow" but probably burnt sienna (dark reddish brown) thinly applied leaving the middñe of the panels in base color will give a nice fade effect closer to the real color. Can't hurt to try but if you do post pics so we can work it out if it's not the color.

Looks like a nice comfy little kit. I don't know why the 1/48 tamiya tanks have diecast lower hulls tho
>>6639745No kits (I'm enforcing a "finish the stash before buying, buy only what you really want" policy now) despite seeing some incredibly tempting stuff. Space to fit finished the finished builds is a bitch so I don't need unnecessary builds around.
But I got some of the new "tamiya style" paints to try, oils, paints and diorama snow from ak as they are doing 25% off everything, at least in europe (no shilling intended) so it was a nice price to try the new things. Got a flat varnish, clear and regular paint to see how the range does.
