A few months later her fans pointed out that one of the HairGoals LOLs (Rainbow Raver) looked like some pictures of her in teal pigtails and rainbow clothes. Amina accused MGA of stealing her image and profiting off it without crediting her, and also accused them of racism and ableism because she’s black/autistic.
Turned out to be a coincidence since it takes about a year for toys to go from concept art to final product, but MGA’s CEO just had to be an asshole to Amina on twitter, pic related.
I’m not gonna boycott MGA tho because they make quality dolls, also Larian’s done tons of shady shit before so this is nothing new.
