Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Defensor
I guess I would call this the end of part 1 of CW.
Since Hot Spot was the last torso mold we got, everything that came after was just retools of This guy, Superion and Menasor.
Of the Scramble City sets I guess I would say the Protectobots and Defensor are my least favourite.
Big part of that has to be their lack of fiction. Mostly what we know about these guys comes from their bios. And as a gestalt Defensor has always given of this stick-in-the-mud energy to me.
Though, I will say, I've soften on these guys recently. Probably because they've been sitting on my desk for overt a month I think.
Aesthetically he's okay. Still the boxiest of the Scramble city boys but the Generations-ization breaks that up a bit.
I've come around on the colours. Two white limbs and two white and red limbs look alright. The red details strewn about Hot help marry the blue into the look as well.
Actually a big fan of how the colours on Blades and First Aid are inverted, I think it's neat.
And, if you squint, Rook and Streetwise could be kneesocks and the black on the thighs would be, like, hot pants
