>>9050498So, it's time for round 3 already. I'm gonna be real with you, even though Shadowmoon V2 was a substantial upgrade over V1, it was kinda hard for me to tell in-hand unless I had them right next to each other. I believe V2 is a 100% new sculpt, but when viewing it as a standalone piece, the only real differences I could immediately spot were the head, foot shape, and wideness of the torso.
Version 3 has the same problem for me. It's really very nice, but that's what I thought about V1 and V2 when they were released too. I can tell that it is once again a 100% new sculpt but I just don't feel particularly wowed by it somehow. It's a lot like the somewhat lackluster feeling I had upon upgrading from V1 to V2--a sort of "okay, that's it?" feel. Still, this is probably the definitive Shadowmoon if the SS "bone carving" technique has anything to say about it, and I am a dumbass, so I'll probably end up buying him for the third time.
