I think I messed up. My first time painting a figure from the ground up.
I started by popping the figure apart, sanding down some mold seams and trimming off flash. Then I primed it with Mr. Surface Primer and waited about 2 hours. Then did a pass of Mr. Base White 1000.
I’d assume that I need to do another pass of white to even it out, but now that the first coat is dried, I’m really skeptical about doing any more, since it really looks like something that’ll chip right off once I try to put the figure back together (even after topcoat).
Should I keep going, or strip it down to start over with different primer and white base coat? I haven’t done any of the parts not pictured yet.
