I had no idea about the qc issues, at the time he was cheaper than retail fort max, then sales happened and I only regret the price for a repaint with a sword and poster.
He's missing one of the triangle stickers that go on the back of his shoulders (only a problem in tower mode which I never use) and most are badly applied, but so far apart from not having as tight a stance as hasbro retail metroplex and too much paint on the fortress head (we complain about the takara heads having THICK paint but this one truly is THICK in comparison) he does the job everywhere else.
Also for the keen eye, this was the retail max I had before I refunded it and switched to the sdcc version, ended up getting another...and couldn't refund the sdcc because of the shop I used return policy so I ended up returning the exact same fort max twice, its still at said shop although it looks like I wasn't the only one who bought it, I recognize my marks from him rocking around my car but some new ones keep turning up, might end up buying him if he goes on clearance somehow out of pity
