Now you could argue that by removing the blue jumpsuit, the top could go on no problem with minor sacrifice to a “movie authentic” look by having no pantaloons. But the pink top is purposefully cut short at the midriff to allow the pink sash of the blue jumpsuit to peek through. So without that sash, Peep is showing off her non-belly buttoned midriff. This would have been solved easily if Mattel made the blue jumpsuit into two pieces, but as always, they had to cut corners somewhere.
