Boy oh boy are they all kinds of jank. Both are fantastic designs, but dear lord are the molds weak.
Proxima has a fucking amazing design. Utilizing the inhumanness of the mms waist absolutely sells centaur mode. The armored legs are super great designs, and the way the hind legs fold into a backpack with the subtle hint at a missile launcher + wing pack is cool as hell. Her hair design is really great, very tenshi muyo, but the mold is fucking ATROCIOUS. The details are bunt and lumpy, the paint is of wildly diferent thicknesses, and the ponytail has a tendency to fly off. Her eyes look great, though the puffiness of her head and mouth generally makes her look extremely uncanny from some angles. Her weapons are meh, nothing amazing, kinda underwhelming.
Marycles also has a fucking amazing design, but here the biggest problem is the proportions used by the small mms body. Proxima's tall body works perfectly in conjunction with her armor and general style, Marycles not so much. Her torso is suuuper long, distractingly so, and her chest armor doesn't help in the slightest, in fact, worsens her long ass body. Her hair mold has similar issues to Proxima's, though the simplicity of her hair helps a bit, at least in my opinion.
There, I criticised two 10+ year old toys. I still like them.
