not sharing mediocre ''art'' creates a false impression that all art emerges perfect and fully formed, you never see the process the artist had to go through to get to that level
it reinforces the notion that ''art'' is a special talent and not a learnable skill earned through effort.
at the very least you can look at that figure or someone's shitty drawing and say 'oh well i can do better than that my art isn't so bad'
the only problem comes when ''artists'' are coddled and praised for their mediocre art
