Cheap, good quality desktop toys that had articulation and could be rebuilt into pretty much anything due to being made of lego were bound to sell like hotcakes.
The animated show was randumb shit but I appreciate it in a mindless level. The latter specials had very pleasing animation which felt more cartoony and natural.
