>>7318850I would've had it today to build, but a gift idea is the worthy cause that's giving pause to that purchase. Also, I can't say that there's any special knowledge to know about mechs in general.
I find that perceived premise of an AI that's part of an underwater research team enthusiastically going after wildlife to study it to be amusing and enjoyable.
In fact, the whole (perceived) scene of a robot, a remotely controlled crane and an actual human in the mini-sub working together is a nice thought.
The rebuilds are solid as well and given the price, if anyone wanted to buy it three times to have all three in a scene I would understand. In fact, I would suggest that they take the time to make even a simple diorama at that point.
>>7318854You may have a happier time trying to build a mini Bondrewd from one of Mega's Wetwork Spartan figures and perhaps the Destiny figures for the clothes. Well, there's a bit of bias in there that comes from the other thing that I wanted to say, which was the thought that best dad deserves more than a minifigure's articulation. Still, the charm of a minifigure version isn't lost on me. Basically my vote is for the 'constraction' method.
