>>6945932Just think of them as NG kits that are far easier to customize. There's a variety of designs that all uses the frame in their own unique ways. I'd say if one looks good go for it. As for the Frame itself nubs are bothersome especially since they're gouged but I'm not bothered (except for the exposed joints like the elbow) since it's mostly covered up. And do be weary of the joints, If I'm not wrong the polycaps Koto uses are the same material as the ABS plastic itself used for the kits, they don't hold out long.
The customizing aspect is the juicy bit, once you get to know the ins and out of a Frame Arms you can make it however you want with minimal to almost no scratchbuilding required. I've just got my snapfitted Katsuguchi I did a year ago out again and already made it better. Now with my skills improved I can clean up and paint this guy.
