MotU seems to be on the chill(er) end of the spectrum of fanbases mostly populated by grognards. Some people will give you shit for bringing up Nu-Ra or Revelation, but most don't care and only want to talk about toys, regardless of the brand they're attached to. Compare that to the autistic elitism and shitflinging of historical wargames.
As much as I'd like MotU to be more popular (for the sake of more content and guaranteed continuation) smaller, laidback fanbases have a cozy feeling that never survives mainstream appeal.
Though I do wish I could mention how much I want to cum on Mara's tits without being called a fag
